An impressive career can conceal some of the darkest stories beneath. The winner of both the USA and World championships in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after a lot of struggle and enormous amount of perseverance. She was the only child of a single mom with five kids, Jones had a difficult and impoverished growing up. Jones' mother moved constantly and lived for a time in the church basement. Jones was forced to move to a different school each throughout her senior year as a result of her nomadic life. Jones was forced to move away from mother at Theodore Roosevelt School in order follow her passion for track. Jones was a member of four different families to focus on her studies. Jones was part of both the Iowa School Orchestra and the Gatorade Track and Field Award. She also won this award in school. Jones was one of the best hurdlers in her age group when she first entered college. She won the 100-meter obstacle during the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was among the runners-up team for the relay 100-meter event. Jones was the winner of both indoor and outdoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones was a professional athlete in 2005 after she completed her education. She began to train to pursue a track career that would be successful. Jones won Torino Memorial in 2005, as well as Ostrava and Heusden races the following year.
Brandt relocated to Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the at the end of her teenage years. Brandt was discovered in Auckland by casting directors and landed the part of Naevia, in the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981 was born in Cape Town South Africa. She's quite an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in the year 1999. In Auckland she began working in retail and later be promoted to the position of IT manager consultant. Lesley began her modeling career and then began to appear in commercials. She graduated in 2008 and finished her training in acting. After that, in 2009 she began her training again with the Meisner technique of studying. The first time she was a prominent actor, her job was in the TV drama arrangement Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television show Shortland Street in the role of a second actor. She then appeared in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the real story of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia as a hostage who was a teenager in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her character was depicted in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
